Bronzing baby shoes to preserve sweet memories
You’ll need a pair of baby shoes made of fabric, leather or wool, fabric softener, colorless varnish, metal colors in gold and copper, bitumen and turpentine, paint brushes.
Bronzing baby shoes – Materials
Apply 2 coats of fabric softener inside and outside of the shoes and let it dry for 24 hours.
Apply the metal colors with the brush throughout the shoe, with soft pats. Wait drying 5 hours and repeat the procedure. Shadow the areas you prefer with a darker colour.
Apply colorless varnish. Let dry for one hour.
In a bowl, mix 1 part bitumen with 1 part turpentine. Apply on the shoes and immediately wipe with a soft cloth. Allow to dry completely for 24 hours.
